CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE "MAURIZIO AND CLOTILDE PONTECORVO" RESEARCH GRANT
The “Maurizio e Clotilde Pontecorvo” research grant is intended to expand on the topic of “Women in the history, culture and education of Italian Jews” and, through this study, contribute more in-depth knowledge of Italian Judaism, particularly as regards the development, presentation and dissemination of this theme by MEIS.
The future of MEIS
Besides the building in Via Piangipane 81 (offices and exhibition space), the renovated building of the former jail (exhibition space and administrative offices) and the volumes recalling the books of the Torah (construction site since 2018), MEIS will comprise: reception, bookshop, library, archive and documentation center, restaurant, auditorium, educational workshops.
